Apprentice Electrician Position Overview

EV Careers is urgently seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Fort Collins, CO. We need a dedicated, hard-working individual with a basic understanding of electrical theory and safety. You’ll be tasked with assisting in the installation and testing of EV charging stations, pulling wire, and bending conduit under supervision.

Must Haves for Apprentice Electrician

• 2-5 years experience as an Apprentice Electrician
• Enrollment in a certified electrician apprenticeship program
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety
• Willingness to work in outdoor and industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Key Apprentice Electrician Duties

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in installing and testing EV charging stations and pull wire and bend conduit under supervision. You will be responsible for maintaining tools and worksite cleanliness, learning to read blueprints and circuit diagrams, and following NEC guidelines for low-voltage and 240V installations. Attending weekly safety meetings and hands-on training, as well as shadowing journeyman electricians during EVSE installations and repairs, is also part of the job.
