Cable Technician - Structured Cabling and Security at Prime Partners

Prime Partners is the staffing agency supporting cable technician openings in the Papillion, NE area for structured cabling, security cabling, and low voltage construction work. Structured Cabling and Security Responsibilities

Cable technicians will install cable infrastructure in commercial new construction and data center environments. Work includes pulling and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, copper, and fiber cabling, placing patch panels, supporting wireless access point cabling, installing cable racks, innerduct, J-hooks, and overhead cable support pathways.

Technicians may also test newly installed or relocated cable to confirm performance and project specifications. Security cabling, access control rough-in, device labeling, faceplates, finish work, and troubleshooting may be included depending on project needs.

Temporary Construction Project Work

This is temporary contract work with a targeted project completion window and potential extension. Prime Partners is coordinating staffing for the role and supports steady low voltage assignments for dependable technicians who show up safely, communicate well, and produce clean work.

The role is designed for commercial cable technicians who can work around other trades, follow standards, and keep a professional appearance and respectful jobsite attitude.

Requirements for Papillion Cable Technicians

A minimum of 1 year of professional cable technician, low voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience is preferred, though strong entry-level candidates may be considered. Candidates need reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the ability to pass standard background and drug screening.
