Key Responsibilities

Core Building Automation Technician Responsibilities

Program, Commission, and Troubleshoot Systems: You will be tasked with the programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of sophisticated building automation systems, ensuring they meet both design specifications and operational efficiency.
Configure DDC Controls: Configure Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for HVAC and related mechanical systems to maximize performance and reliability.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, playing a crucial role in project planning and execution.
On-Site Troubleshooting and Documentation: Conduct on-site troubleshooting for control systems and mechanical integration, documenting installation processes and maintaining accurate project records.

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Niagara, Tridium, Distech, Alerton, or JCI Metasys systems. Strong understanding of HVAC operations and DDC systems, with the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
