Job Description:

Greenskies Solar is seeking skilled Solar Panel Installers to join our dynamic team in Pueblo, CO. Our Solar Panel Installers are vital to our mission of providing affordable and sustainable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in renewable energy systems and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, concentrators, batteries, pumps, fans, or support structures.
• Perform site analysis to assess installation feasibility, including sun orientation, shading issues, and structural integrity of potential locations.
• Determine appropriate sizes, ratings, and locations for all system components.
• Identify and resolve any deficiencies in solar system installation or materials.
• Connect solar panels and inverters to structures, and measure, cut, and assemble structural framing, using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment.
• Apply weather sealing to array, building, or support mechanisms.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, electricians, and other construction crew members to ensure efficient and safe installations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in solar panel installation, preferably on solar farms.
• Certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, blueprint reading, and use of power and hand tools.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.

• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
