Cable Tech Lead at AVI SPL
Position Overview
AVI SPL is seeking a seasoned Cable Tech Lead for our expanding team in Mesa, AZ. The Cable Tech Lead will be responsible for serving our highly valued corporate clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies, tech startups to financial institutions. With a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the field, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence and leadership within a 10+ person regional team, and have the flexibility to travel within a 100 mile radius.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the installation and repair of network cabling infrastructure at client sites.
- Conduct Network Analysis, Cable Certification, and OTDR Testing.
- Perform troubleshooting and restoration of network issues.
- Collaborate with a regional team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Travel to client sites as required, within a 100 mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (5-8 years) as a Cable Technician or similar role.
- Certifications: BICSI Technician, Cisco CCNA.
- Proficiency with Network Analysis, Cable Certification, OTDR Testing, and Fluke Networks.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Network+, RCDD.
- Previous experience serving corporate clients (Fortune 500 Companies, Tech Startups, Financial Institutions).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
